On arrival at NJP/IXB Airport our company representative will greet you and assist to board your vehicle towards PHUENTSHOLING. Vehicle takes near about 4 HRS. On the way you can have your meal by your own.
After reaching at PHUENTSHOLING Our Bhutan Executive will meet you and will assist you to complete your permit formalities. After getting your permit same day you will be transferred to THIMPHU, the capital of BHUTAN. It will take near about 4 Hours to cover 145 KMs.

TASHICHHO DZONG: It is a gorgeous Buddhist monastery and fortress on the WANGCHU River in the northern edge of THIMPHU city in Bhutan. TASHICHHO DZONG is decorated with an illustrious history, glorifying architecture and peaceful atmosphere. It is one of the prime places to visit in the capital city of Bhutan. 2. NATIONAL MEMORIAL CHORTEN: Built in the memory of the Third King (Head of Kingdom), the National MEMORIALCHORTEN is devoted to World peace. Situated well within the capital city THIMPHU, the stupa was built in the year 1974. 3. BUDDHA DORDENMA: One of the largest statues in the world it is masterpiece of architectural wonder. The massive bronze statue is more than 50 meters in height and is glided in gold. Apart from this, it also houses 125000 other Buddha statues that are placed surrounding the BUDDHA DORDENMA STATUE. 4. JUNGSHI HANDMADE PAPER FACTORY: Bhutanese handmade paper is made from the local trees of DAPHNE and DHEKAP. The factory uses age old methods of preparing the paper. Visitors are given a brief tour of the factory alongside explaining the manufacturing process. Visitors also can try their hands in the art of paper making, if they desire so. 5. NATIONAL LIBRARY OF BHUTAN: National Library is a must visit for tourist in THIMPHU. The library was built in 1967 in traditional Bhutanese Architecture. This is one of the best places to learn about Bhutanese culture as well as its history. 6. HERITAGE MUSEUM (SIMPLY BHUTAN): Simply Bhutan is a living Museum that is a successful initiative to conserve the culture and traditions of Bhutan. The Museum is abode to distinct astonishing things that would leave one awestruck, it houses the old equipment that were once used by the ancient Bhutanese for distinct works. Every visitor at this place is greeted with a shot of rice spirit called local ARA or ARAG. Once the exploration of the museum is done, the visitors are guided through the mocked-up village scenes to get them acquainted with the story if it’s several parts. ROYAL TAKIN PRESERVE: It is a wild life reserve area of Bhutan that nestles in MOTITHANG district of THIMPHU. TAKIN is the national animal of Bhutan can be sighted in the major population here. WEEKEND MARKET: One of the most fun things to do in Capital city, THIMPHU is to explore its weekend Market. FOLK HERITAGE MUSEUM: This museum opened on 28th July, 2001 and was an initiative of Founder Queen Mother. The building of this museum is around 150 years old which is constructed of traditional rammed mud and timber. The museum showcases things that are a part of Bhutanese culture and lifestyle. 10. ROYAL TEXTILE ACADEMY: Discover the beauty and diversity of the living textile arts of Bhutan. They have the finest examples of woven, embroidered and appliqued textiles on display alongside relevant production techniques in the textile museum. Today after breakfast you will check out from THIMPHU hotel and will be transferred to PUNAKHA via DOCHULA pass. 1. DOCHULA PASSDOCHULA PASS is a mountain Pass in the snow covered Himalayas within Bhutan in the road from THIMPHU to PUNAKHA where 108 Memorial CHORTENS have been built by the eldest Queen Mother called the DRUK WANGYAL LHAKHANG built in honour of the forth King JIGME SINGYE WANGCHUK. 2. PUNAKHA DZONG: (The place of great happiness or bliss) is the administrative centre of Punakha District in Punakha. The DZONG was constructed by NGAWANG NAMGYAL in 1937 – 1938. It is the second oldest and second largest DZONG in Bhutan and one of its most majestic structures. 3. CHHIMI LHAKHANG: CHIMMI LHAKHANG, a temple is a Buddhist monastery in Punakha district located near LOBESA. Famously known as the temple of fertility, the LHAKHANG draws local people from near and far to receive blessings from the LAMA (monk). Many childless couples make a devout pilgrimage to the LHAKHANG in the hope that they will be honoured with a Wang or blessings from the Lama. 4. SUSPENSION BRIDGE :Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge of its kind stretching across the majestic Pho Chu river, the Suspension bridge is 180 m (590 feet) in length, making it one of the longest Suspension bridges in the country. Today you will stay in hotel at PUNAKHA.
Today after breakfast check out from hotel and then transfer to PARO. Before check in to PARO hotel you will visit TAKTSANG (TIGER NEST).Sacred mountainside monastery with ornately designed temples and arts, plus legendary meditation caves. It is one of Bhutan’s most recognized spots. You can enjoy TAKTSANG hike through the pine forest, which is rewarding experience. Trekking to TIGER NEST takes near about 2 to 3 Hours to climb top. You can hike to TAKTSANG or you have option to take PONY Ride (Not suggested, because it will not do the full ride, only 1/3 road will be covered). After completion of TIGER NEST EXCURSION you will be dropped at Hotel. Overnight at hotel in PARO.
Today after breakfast you will go to for CHELE-LA PASS EXCURSION CHELE-LA PASS EXCURSION: Located at approximately 13000 feet between the valley of PARO and HAA, CHELE LA PASS is the highest motor able road Pass in Bhutan. The Pass is famous for the stunning Himalayan views it offers, especially MT. JHOMOLHARI, which is Bhutan’s most sacred peak at 22000 feet, TSHERIMGANG MOUNTAINS, JICHU DRAKE as well as views of both the valleys, PARO and HAA. Same day visit 3 main points at PARO (i) RINPUNG DZONG (ii) NATIONAL MUSEUM and (iii) PARO INTERNATIONAL Airport. Today you will stay in hotel at PARO.
Today early morning you will visit few sightseeing points of PARO then will be transferred to JAIGAON TO IXB / NJP. 1. NATIONAL MUSEUM: The National Museum of PARO is the pride of the country. Flaunting art and traditions, it has six floors, each of them narrating a unique tale from the past. One can see paintings, art pieces, animal masks and many more facets of the rich culture. The best place to know Bhutan by its roots, it gives an insight into the local peoples lifestyles and the evolution of the culture of Bhutan. 2. RINGPUNG DZONG: The RINGPUNG DZONG also known as PARO DZONG has a very spiritual environment. Beautifully lit up at night, THE DZONG has many illustrations portraying the life of Buddha. A hike to the top of the fortress welcomes you with the spectacular view of nearby valleys. 3. PARO AIRPORT BIRDS EYE VIEW POINT: PARO Airport Birds Eye View Point offers an exquisite view of the entire city. With the PARO International Airport being in the top ten stunning airports in the world. Amidst the mountains, the sight is so colourful and vivid that one remains awestruck by the grandeur of the city. After PARO sightseeing you will transfer towards SILIGURI. Today you will stay overnight in SILIGURI.
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer towards IXB/NJP to catch your Flight/Train onward your sweet home.
